dyed & printed

with plants.

What does that mean?

Eco-dyeing is a sustainable process where natural plant materials, compost, and metals are used to dye fabric. By steaming or boiling the fabric with organic materials, unique, earthy colors and patterns are created, all without synthetic dyes or chemicals.

Jane Jacobs is a Canadian textile artist working with foraged botanicals and reclaimed natural materials.
